Submission Checklist
Submit Manuscript- Manuscript Template: The manuscript should be prepared using a required Journal of FST template. A Word or LaTex file and a PDF file are both required upon submission. The content on each file must match exactly. Two manuscripts will be submitted where one word file will be with authors’ name and affiliation and other word file will be with anonymous. Download FST template for Microsoft Word and LaTex. Editorial board encourages author to use LaTex template.
- Mandatory topics: The manuscript must include title page, abstract, keywords, main body, references, tables, figures, and supplementary files where applicable.
- Title and Abstract: Title must be precise and concise form (preferable 1-15 words) and abstract should be maximum of 250 words
- Word Limit: Articles submitted to Journal of FST should normally have a maximum word count of 2500 for short communications, 5000 for policy analyses, 6000 for research articles and 8000 for synthesis or review articles.
- English Language and Grammar: The manuscript should be thoroughly checked for spelling and grammar before submission. Author will provide a certificate for English Language and grammar from renown Language Editing service or language expert from university teacher after final acceptance. Articles with poor language and grammar will be immediately rejected.
- Organization of the Manuscript: Verify that all sections and subsections appear in the correct order and ensure that section numbering, headings, and subheadings are consistent throughout the manuscript.
- Tables and Figures: Check that all tables and figures are numbered sequentially and ensure that every table and figure is cited and discussed in the main text before or immediately after it appears
- Quality of Figures and Images: Ensure that all figures, graphs, and images are clear, readable, and of publication quality and verify that labels, legends, symbols, and text within figures are legible.
- Mathematical Equations: Don’t use image for mathematical equations. Submit math equations as editable text.
- Corresponding author and co-authors’ information: One author must be designated as the corresponding author including email address and full postal address. Author lists should be carefully considered before submission. Confirm that all author affiliations are accurate and complete and check the corresponding author's name, affiliation, email address, and other contact information.
- Declaration for Publication: The submitted manuscript is original and has not been published previously and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- abbreviations and acronyms: Authors must define abbreviations and acronyms the first time they are used in the article, even if they have already been defined in the abstract. Acronyms and abbreviations can have multiple meanings, so it is important that these are clearly defined.
- Keywords: You must add 3 to 6 manuscript keywords upon submission.
- Type of Research Article: You will be required to select a manuscript type upon submission. If you are unsure, please select “Research Article”. The manuscript type will be published in the article as per submission.
- Plagiarism: The manuscript should be less than 20% plagiarism. You will send proper justification for Self-plagiarism. Editorial board will take decisions for self-plagiarism.
- References: Ensure that all in-text citations have corresponding entries in the reference list and verify that the reference list strictly follows the APA referencing style.
- AI Declaration: The use of artificial intelligence (AI) generated text in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgements section.
- A declaration of conflict of interest should be included.
- Page limit: Maximum manuscript length will be 20 pages.
- Supplementary Declaration: Include Acknowledgement, Competing Interest, Data Availability, Funding before reference section.
